Sausage and potatoes

This is the meal that I made yesterday.  It looked super simple and sounded amazing and I saw something like it on Pinterest, so I decided to make my own!

Ingredients:
- 3 bratwurst sausages
(the pack had 5 and I saved 2 for another time)
- 3 small potatoes
-A handfull of baby carrots
- chicken broth
- 1/2 onion
- Garlic

First step, turn your oven to 450 degrees.
Peel and chop up your potatoes!
 Then chop up your carrots.
Then chop of some onion and throw it in there!
 Throw some garlic in there.
I put only half a can of chicken broth as there are only 2 of us!
Cover with tinfoil and put in the oven for 40 minutes!
Meanwhile, cook your sausage in your skillet!
It doesn't have to be cooked all the way through as it is going in the oven too!
Put on top of your veggies and cook for another 20-30 minutes uncovered, until it looks crispy on top!
And there you have it!  In all honesty, it wasn't as good as I hoped, but we ran out of time so I didn't cook it as long as I wanted to (so it wasn't as crispy).  But it was quick and easy and the husband still enjoyed it!
